A quick-service café lives and dies on speed — the ordering experience has to be as fast as the kitchen. We built a progressive web app with an instant checkout, a motion-rich digital menu that makes the food irresistible, and a live kitchen queue so orders flow from tap to tray without friction.
A React PWA installs to the home screen and works offline-first. Firebase Realtime Database syncs the order queue live between customers and the kitchen display, so state changes appear instantly on both sides. Framer Motion drives the menu's appetite-appeal animations; Tailwind keeps the layout clean and responsive. Geofenced triggers gate localized delivery.
A QSR ordering flow must be instant and reliable on a phone with a weak connection, and the kitchen and customer must never disagree about an order's state. Real-time consistency plus offline resilience, without a heavy backend, was the core challenge.
